ON THE STREETS

The Sartorialist just had a short video interview put up on hypebeast.
The video discusses the documentation of people, current fashion, and
the necessity to photograph it. When people see old photos of New York,
they think of how well dressed some one might have been, or just how
amazing the architecture was. But we wouldn't have this appreciation or
obsession with it all unless there were photographs to enlighten us.
Photographers have a hidden obligation to document everything around
them so that fifty to one hundred years from now people can look back and talk
about how great everything must have been in our time.
